Sindh Livestock & Fisheries Department Signs MoU with FonGrow Khanewal

Karachi | 7 September 2026: The Sindh Livestock & Fisheries Department and FonGrow Khanewal signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening the genetic improvement of Red Sindhi and Kankrej cattle in Sindh. The collaboration will focus on introducing advanced breeding practices and enhancing the technical capacity of departmental staff.

The agreement was signed by DG Livestock Research & Extension Dr. Naeem Siddiqui Ansari and FonGrow COO Brigadier (R) Arshad Taufiq. Under the MoU, Embryo Transfer Technology and Artificial Insemination will be promoted, with FonGrow providing specialized training to relevant livestock officials. The signing ceremony was attended by The Honorable Minister Muhammad Ali Malkani, Secretary Dr. Kazim Hussain Jatoi, DG SIAH Dr. Nazir Hussain Kalhoro, and other senior departmental officers.
